Painted from life, “Yellow Wildflowers and Lavender from Spanish Field” is one of the artworks in my series of floral still life oil paintings.<\/p>\n

The artwork is painted on 1\/8\u2033 inch hardboard with two layers of Old Holland white gesso primer.
\nI use Old Holland Classic oil paints and Old Holland cold pressed bleached linseed oil to increase fluidity of oil colors.
\nWhen the thickest areas of my painting are firm I varnish artwork with Gamvar Gloss Varnish, the original Gamvar formula.<\/p>\n
